"From the moment we arrived at 2:50 PM, we felt warmly welcomed, even though food service ends at 3 PM. There was no sense of being rushed, and I must say, the food we ordered was outstanding—one of the best fish pies I’ve ever had. We will surely be coming back! I highly recommend this charming little pub, whether you're looking for a meal before or after a walk in the lovely countryside or a visit to the Roald Dahl Museum with kids."

We just popped in for some lunch before a hospital visit and the food was lovely , I had the chicken supreme and it was cooked to perfection , hubby had fish pie and loved it , if we are that way again we will definitely come back . Quick friendly service too�

We visited with a party of eight, including four children, on short notice during a busy Sunday, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The food was delicious, and there was an interesting selection of ales. We had a fantastic lunch and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Great Missenden.

What a delightful and high-quality pub lunch! We stopped for a meal at a beautiful location in the Chilterns, which offered charming outdoor seating in a friendly atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient. There was also a great variety of vegetarian options on the menu at reasonable prices. We truly enjoyed the walnut and beetroot salad, courgette chips, and halloumi burger! I highly recommend this place!
