We had a wonderful meal with plenty of options for the whole family at this restaurant. It was the perfect stop after our visit to the Roald Dahl Activity Center.

The best roast beef I’ve had for ages. Nice and pink, superb rich gravy and delicious veg, piled high with a Yorkshire pudding. And it arrived super quick. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast, Sunday Lunch

This is a great pub, although I didn't eat here the beer was great with plenty of on tap options. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant area looks super clean and inviting. I tried the seafood linguine at this restaurant, but I found it to be a bit bland and not quite to my liking. However, the others in my group of four enjoyed their dishes. The service was good and the price per person ranged from £20-30. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.

This fantastic cozy pub is conveniently located near the Dahl museum. We visited for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and were impressed by the friendly staff and lively atmosphere. The bar offered complimentary snacks like sausages and roast potatoes, along with a great variety of beers. As we had a big dinner planned later, we opted for the small pasta plates. Sara enjoyed the Ricotta Spinach Ravioli with cream sauce (tomato sauce was also available), while I savored the Spaghetti Bolognese. Both dishes were delicious! We highly recommend this pub if you find yourself in the area.

Where do I start? Service was slow, waitress spilt a drink on table and didn 't top it up. Ordered kids peperoni pizza but adult one came and was drizzled with chilli oil , it was far too hot for our child so she didnt eat it(they did take it off the bill) . When it came to dessert we mentioned at least she can fill up on brownie . There was only 1 child and 1 adult brownie but the waitress went off and came back saying another family had ordered both. So we decided to call it a day. They brought the bill out which had 12.5% service added. What a joke. The waitress was young , looked nervous, didn 't smile. Maybe it was her first night?
