"I visited the pub with my family and we were 8 in all. The food was good as was the service. However 4 of us had a Sunday Lunch and each of us 4 asked if we could have some extra Gravy as we felt there wasn’t enough on the meal. Imagine our surprise when the bill came to find we were charged £3.75 for the extra gravy. This is the first time we have ever been charged for extra gravy, which when needed has always been given with never any charge. We were never advised there would be such a charge and only noticed it on the bill. It left us saddened, as we enjoyed the meal including Desserts, for which we paid nearly £200. Not good customer relationship."

Had a fabulous Stay at the Curious pig before our flight to Barbados. Enjoyed drinks by the fire in the bar and had a lush meal in the pub. Jamie was delightful and all staff very accomodating. Would highly recommend. Thanks for the bubbles in the room

We held a wake at this venue as it’s only a short drive from the crematorium. We had half the bar area for the guests. The food was excellent and a variety of foods, they catered for 30 and there was plenty left. Great parking and friendly and helpful staff. They have only done this a couple of times but highly recommended

We arrived on time at 1.00 pm for Sunday lunch to be told there were not enough roast potatoes so we would have to have new potatoes! Then after our shared starter we then waited until 2.45 pm for our main course which included one grape sized stuffing and an inedible Yorkshire which was enormous, the rest of the food was very basic pre sliced meats. Having ordered a bottle of French Sauvignion at £25 we were told they didn’t have that but had a New Zealand one but didn’t mention it was £37. Then to top it all we were charged £14.75 for a glass of red wine. Not at all impressed and will never return.

Booked a table in the restaurant for 6pm on a Saturday evening, loads of empty tables. I gave my name to the waitress who said we could sit anywhere that was not reserved in the bar side. I explained we has a table in the restaurant and she just looked at me blankly and said we could sit anywhere in the bar side. She then gave us 2 menus and went through a list of about 10 dishes that they had run out of and added they have no ales available on tap. She then turned and walked off. We went into the bar side and there were a couple of reserved tables, the rest had plates and empty glasses on. So we left.

I came here because it was the next place for me to get vegan food. there were no reviews, but I'm always ready to give a place a chance. it is a warm and friendly pub. However, the service is somewhat slow and the vegan menu needs some serious attention. there was really no choice, it was quite literally between an aqueous suppe and an salat for starter or net. there was an aubergine bulgar weizen dish that looked promising, although eating looked good, it lacked serious taste and any actual nutrients. it seems that this is the kind of place that will only add to a vegan dish, so that they involve more. different from coming back.

"Tarana Review of Tarana restaurant Lingfield , location is very prominent , on the main High Street. The restaurant can be easily be seen on the high street after passing the roundabout as you enter the high street . As you enter the front door , you quickly realise it’s so large in size and very spacious with colourful lighting. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated with a wow factor , great ambiance . As you walk through there is lounge bar area on the left to enjoy a drink before you are seated to your table. Tonight we are here to dine and enjoy the Dua Lipa live tribute singing and dancing so great atmosphere here tonight ! They have a wonderful range of cocktails non alcoholic and alcoholic with exciting range of drink menu . Great if you’re driving and not in to alcohol , the choice is unlimited unlike your usual typical indian with basic soft drinks . There is dance floor to do some hip hop or just slow , choice is yours! We have been to most of their restaurants and it’s “simply the best” in terms of entertainment food and drinks . The prices are very reasonable for what you get from them and service is wonderful with a smile King prawn butterflies appetisers and king purree , wonderful and nicely flavoured, served with designer chillies and salad . Main courses , Tiger Prawn biryani King prawn biryani duck biryani with side dishes of fresh bindi bhaji sag bhaji tarka dall wow ! Simply mind blowing food "
