I'm not sure where to begin with Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The roast beef was fatty and served in a watery gravy with just two potatoes and a tough piece of beef. The Yorkshire pudding was also hard. All of this for £20 per person.

We live only a 7-minute walk away from this charming local independent pub, Earl Ferrers. Throughout lockdown, their takeaways have been fantastic (check out their Facebook page for more information - you can message them on Facebook, or email/call). Now, we can dine in and enjoy drinks there as well.

In the past year, this restaurant has become a favorite spot for me. I never want to leave. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. They have a great selection of drinks, including special beers and wines. The music is diverse, and they even take requests sometimes, which I love. But what really keeps me coming back is the cozy, local atmosphere and the lovely chats with Laura, Duncan, and the rest of the team. Highly recommend! View menu
