Sunday lunch.....we'll we ordered it Sunday really slow over an hour to arrive ...With no concern or explanation from staff. Not busy.

Over night stay in this lovely Peak District pub. Lovely location in a lovely village. Stayed in the hotel and had dinner, all really good.

Fab fab fab place. Lovely staff. Lovely pub.. Fòod just amazing. Reasonably priced. Not ypir average pub grub. Ate here both nights. Faultless. We will come back. View menu

Stayed the night with friends, lovely welcome, comfortable rooms with great shower, Food was fantastic in the evening, as was the service. Great find, would highly recommend.

Came for lunch for my wife's birthday after walking in the area, food was great, all had different meals and all well cooked and presented. Beers were very good, shame couldn't stop for a couple more. Landlord and Landlady very friendly and would definitely return. Shame not a pub like this in my village! Recommended.

Called in for lunch after a long walk. Lovely front of house service, and few things missing off the menu which was a shame. We would have both had fish and chips but the table next door has ordered last one… shame as it looked amazing! Beef Blade and Pork Tenderloin were both well cooked and tasty. Stopped the night in our van flat carpark, Went into pub friendly atmosphere lovely cozy pub open fire ,beams,clean , Ordered our drinks really nice staff nothing too much trouble, Booked in already booked a table for night Great menu ,every diet needs catered for , Perfect food ,great presentation , Prices not out of the way , recommend, DOG FRIENDLY

We have been lucky enough to eat at a lot of nice places and we underestimated The farmhouse. We were hoping for nice pub grub but got outstanding wholesome quality food. The blade of beef with horseradish mash was outstanding, beef melted in mouth and even the veg was perfectly cooked. My daughter had a portion of cheesy chips and considered them life changing

We were here for a couple of nights and booked a table for dinner. We had popped along to see where the bar was and decided to go in for a drink. The people and staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. On our return in the evening we both went for the homemade curry and weren't dissappointed, it was delicious. Would definately recommend and would go back ourselves if visiting here again. View menu
