"this is the first time we tried breakfast here, it will certainly not be the last. from the moment we arrived at our time, we can't owe anything of our visit. the personal was friendly and welcome throughout. the breakfasts. we had from this world, absolute perfection. my other half, she had the full far away while I decided for the big far away, both were amazing absolutely intestinal buster, well presented, top class local ingredients that were obviously cooked by a professional cook. the last touch of perfection was the individually wrapped part of the real butter from the netherend farm in lydney, for the toast. the coffee was also excellent. we need to say that this was the best breakfast, at current real value for money. we look forward to our next visit for another really amazing experience."

Brilliant turkey roast. Veggies were special (didn't take a picture of those). Also a very nice cup of tea too.

This is a gem of a place, love it here. Fab coffee and cake, but had late lunch today and it was truly lovely. Highly recommend Bought myself a wooden outdoor chair today, really helpful in putting it in the car for me. View menu

Great Christmas dinner. Friday and Saturday evenings in December and some of January. Five courses of delicious food. Easy pace with plenty of time to enjoy food and company. Welcoming and lovely staff. A great evening out.

really amazing eating in restaurant with many local suppliers and builders that they would never see elsewhere. We found only this hidden restaurant because we pull our business out of town. it will certainly try again to try more food. the garden centre is also very impressive. ensemble

nice afternoon, so called a sandwich. a real setback at the price for each sandwich. but did not want to pass on the judgment until it was tried. extremely disappointed. brot simply normal thick cut and not excessively fresh. minutes salat and tee spoon. of coleslaw. the small amount of cocks looked like the bits they get at the bottom of a pack. in any case would not return. obviously the environment is beautiful. the menu is quite good, but I fear the reality is not quite there. The cakes are only with a terrible amount of coal on the plate. I had a pflugmanns lunch. the brot was average, but the cheese was...absolut mingen. it should be just a nice piece of single or double gloucester, but it was grounded with processed cheese with a little vile in it. the leaves were limp. the coffee was excellent. there was also a kind of atmosphere with the workers who worked it through the restaurant, not very professional.

Don't go here with children, they don't provide a children's menu!! People do venture out to garden centres with little ones, so do suggest that they keep up with the times! Very pretty trees especially Acers, so very colourful display. Service very slow ..lovely staff who are trying so hard! Feel sorry for them as they are so short staffed!l On the pricey side also! Lovely lay out of the tables, I would give them full marks for that! Felt really safe during these Covid times! So if you're visiting without children, and you can cope with a slow service, it might suit you.
