Went to the Five Bells at Stanbridge for their New Years Eve dinner. Food was excellent and well worth the money. Looked after well by Elaine and all the other staff who served us. This was our second visit to the Five Bells and would...thoroughly recommend the place

We had a family reunion today at The Five Bells. We sat in the large rear garden and the service was excellent. We all had a roast dinner and every one us enjoyed all of it. The servings were generous and every part delicious. This...was the best pub roast' we have had in a long time. Thank you.

big Sunday lunch with family, two of us had bark, two truthahn. huge portions, bark was the best in a pub in a long time. kim, the waitress was friendly, attentive and went out of her way to find horse friends! only smaller negative, appetizers. stroke beautiful but small amount brot to pate ratio. suppe was good, but pre-cut whole grain bread, instead of fresh cut, we would have expected. in any case,

Nice charming pub with a lot of Character, food was average probably give it 6/10 , friendly staff. Had soup for a starter, soup was nice, but the let down was the bread it came with, just basically sliced bread. I wouldn’t of minded a...nice bit of Rustic bread seasoned, and charred on the grill. Also duck Croquettes for a starter, they were very nice, no complaints there. Burger for a main was Nice and tasty, although bit small, the triple cooked chips were a flop.

Just popped in for a quick brunch, ordered fish finger sandwich and Crispy goat's cheese roasted red pepper sandwich for my wife, and pepsi max for a drink, firstly the pepsi max was weak and tasted of sweetners, just about drinkable, the sandwiches turned...up with chips still running with oil, they were overcooked and awful, the fish finger sandwich wasn't much better, my wife only ate half her meal, sorry 5 bells but you need to up your game, I won't be back anytime soon there are better places to go.

we are here for lunch to celebrate the 90th birthday of my nan. I've been a lot in this pub in the last 20 years, but not recently. the building and the garden are both beautiful with a lot of character. we were shown to our table and the waitress who served us during our visit was friendly and attentive. all our main courses were delicious and I had the chicken supreme I was impressed with. the only reason I didn't give 5/5 is that the spinat and artichoke actor was not as nice as we hoped and the trufflemash had no truffle. I would definitely recommend this beautiful pub for a nice relaxed meal. thanks to

we chose this place for our small intimate high-time reception with family friends. about 60 people . the service, eating, decor was exemplary. everything we demanded was done on a very high accuracy standard, including our menu choices, cocktails canapés, decorations. the venue, and the music and entertainment. no stone was released. each guest in the participation could not blame anything and commented on the high standards offered throughout the day. even regular customers who visited the day came to our celebrations and had nothing but praise. the employees and the management worked so hard to provide a magical fairytale day for us. competitive price, we would highly recommend the venue...
