Very friendly welcome. Cozy bar. Dinner was superb, especially the butternut squash risotto! Beautifully decorated room with lots of lovely touches and great attention to detail. Delicious breakfast with good coffee

Lovely atmosphere and welcome with great quality food. Weather formal fine dining or relaxed garden dining this pub has something for everyone. Excellent customer service and a warm welcome for our Norfolk terrier. Love this place!

My family and I travel all the way from Oundle to your restaurant on a regular basis as we love it that much. The food is devine, the choice of drinks is excellent and good quality wine. I highly recommend this restaurant, well worth a visit! View menu

Our anniversary lunch experience was extremely disappointing. The atmosphere was lackluster, the food was average and expensive. The portion sizes were laughable, with a salad priced at £16.50 being more like a child-sized side salad. We felt completely ripped off and the service matched the negative reviews we had heard.

We called to book as couldn't get in anywhere else, looked like a lovely place to go but was very disappointed with the food and service, we wanted a carvery but knew it was just a dinner, for the price I thought what we got presented was disgusting and on top of that to be changed extra for the staff service was unacceptable as was only handed a peice of paper for a menu, the beef was cold and hard to cut up, 1 roast potatoe,2 veg and a Yorkshire pudding and gravy like dishwater with bits in for nearly £20 wow, won't be going there again!!!!!

My partner booked this hotel so that we could relax straight after my grandma's funeral. Rochelle took into consideration the circumstances and was more than accommodating. The staff here are warm, polite efficient. The food here is fantastic! We had the steak in the evening and pudding. The dish was simple but perfect. My partner in particular can be very fussy, but he was very impressed. Again, the breakfast was extremely good. I loved the vegetarian option served with toasted nuts, avocado, greens a poached egg.
