"Visited recently and was very surprised by the totally refurbished French Deli. It feels so clean, warm and welcoming. Food all looks really good and fresh, staff very polite and cheery and the addition of tables means you can sit in the warm and enjoy...a drink or food. The French Deli were very welcoming of my toddler son and accomadated his picky needs with no bother. I loved the properly made lattes and hot chocolates. I'll definitely return to the French Deli especially with the changes made by the new owners, definitely changed for the better."

Popped in here for a takeaway baquette on my way home and it was sooo nice and fresh, staff lovely and friendly, lovely and clean, defo need to go again and actually sit and do a wee bit of people watching I so love independant...coffee houses they are the heart of our country

We enjoyed our food at the French Deli, a couple of us had the leek and potato soup, which was delicious. We decided to eat outside because the weather was nice however a member of staff came outside and told us ‘these seats are only...for paying customers.’ Her tone was very rude. One of our friends did have her own sandwich but we had bought food from them. We were very disappointed because we have many wonderful experiences there before, it was a shame a member of staff would be that rude to us.
