"We decided to eat early on a Monday just in case it got busy later, so we sat down at 11:45 and were given menus. After 10-15 minutes we decided we obviously had to order at the counter as no one had appeared to take our order. At this point a waiter arrived. We ordered soup as it should be reasonably quick ... it wasn’t!It was lovely when it did arrive though. And some wonderfully tasty rolls and butter to go with it. We finished off with some amazing coffee cake. My green tea needed some help, it was in a teabag (teapig) but also in a pot meant for loose tea so it was very insipid as it was confined to the top of the pot. So, soup and a cake ...And it took over an hour and a half!Neither took any cooking or assembling. If the service was less tardy I’d be giving a 5 star mark as the food really is outstanding."

The new menu was very exciting and the Hake and salted chocolate tart were excellent. New staff worked hard and were very friendly.

Enjoyed the coffee and food here at lunchtime. Coffee could do with being a bit hotter though! Nice quality food and enjoyed sitting in the conservatory side of the cafe. Worth a visit

We have visited several times for afternoon tea and also for lunch. Lovely setting, excellent food and friendly staff. This cafe is associated with Holloways who have a great range of furniture, studio works and gifts.

Went for a browse and stopped for lunch. We both chose quiche with salads. The quiches were light and fluffy and full of flavour and there was a good mix of salads. We also had one of their local bottled beers each which were excellent. Service was attentive and quick, but not rushed. Perfect.

Travelling from Knighton to Stratford upon Avon After passing Worcester we were keen to have something to eat. We saw a sign to Holloways and followed it. We were very surprised when we arrived at just how big the place was. Unfortunately at the cafe and did not know they did breakfast menu and just had some nice cakes and hot drinks.

We loved our lunch here. Amazing food I had the vegan goulash and it was so delicious, quite possibly the best vegan dish I’ve ever had, such an amazing chef. We also loved that they only use local produce, the decor was fresh, light and contemporary but really cosy. We left feeling totally refreshed. Thank you and we will be back soon

On a damp Thursday lunchtime the Glasshouse cafe a venue which is well off the beaten track, was packed. A tribute to the attention to detail-real tea, proper napkins, attentive staff, clean tables, delicious bread, pats of butter and an interesting menu. It has s relaxed atmosphere and there was a wide age range of clientele with babies and toddlers catered for in highchairs.

Before lockdown I was a regular visitor to Holloways and was genuinely looking forward to it reopening once the restrictions lifted.I was now visited 3 times since the restrictions lifted and with each visit the experience gets worst. The actual restaurant is cold, with a poor atmosphere and very poorly organised add to this the decaying toilets which were dirty, in bad repair and littered with old paper towels and I would stay away until they stop using Covid as an excuse and get their act together.
