"Grazing Shed is fantastic; the food is fresh, tastes great and is well cooked by friendly staff. One of my favorite things in this place is less corporate mountains than many other places. Meat, rolls and other products are purchased locally from suppliers and not only from cheap mass production. Drinks are made especially for the restaurant, with a good selection of delicious drinks without food Coles bags. The employees, while they may wear a cap, are dressed in their own clothes and not uniforms. Overall, it feels like a more real experience I think is somehow important."

Apparently, tidy means something very different in British English than it does in its North American cousin.

That is one avreage burger. Didn't really lived up to the reviews, and left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth.

Amazing burgers in a very hip. Very recommended. The soft drinks offered are also very interesting and not your normal coke or pepsi.

Pro: Beautiful tasting burgers. The best I've had in Cardiff so far. Con: The setting. As nicely as it's decor is, it's all a bit... Sticky.

Tasty burger and chips and decent value for money. Lots of choice with an emphasis on local produce. Option for unlimited drinks refills made even better by having Root Beer which you don't often see in the UK. Would definitely eat here again. Also I believe they have another location near St.Davids 2 shopping centre. View menu

the burger tastes simple, there’s nothing special about it. I don’t know why it’s named the best burger place in Wales if I have to compare, shake shack is definitely better in taste and quality get the deal when you go there cuz it’s more worth it (burger+chips+drinks) drinks selection is nice and you get to refill

The friendly and polite service I could imagine. The food was great too! I have the Spicy Uncle Pedro. The sauce, burgers and chorizo were really well together. The chips/ries were wonderfully crispy on the outside and well paired with their house Mayonnaise. The mayonnaise really stole the show and I could believe it. Mayo on Pommes? Absurd! Well, not that mayonnaise; it was very light and herbs infused, not thick and overpowered as the stuff from a glass. Don't wait to go back to Shed!

"It was the most bizarre experience dining here. First when we arrived in the restaurant, our group set up was that there was someone on each end who was sitting facing an empty chair on the other side of the table. Upon enquiry we understood it was a covid measure, however never had any other restaurants requesting such seating arrangements in the past 20 months. We ordered two split pots, a non-spicy broth for one side of the pot and a spicy broth for the other side. The staff came to confirm that we wanted spicy/non-spicy in each pot. Yes, we said. To our shock when the pots came, one pot was spicy/spicy on both side, and the other was non-spicy/non-spicy on both sides. This was after the staff had came by to confirm that we wanted a spicy/non-spicy set-up, and in the usual situation a person wanting a spicy broth would not have asked for a split pot. We raised this to the staff and were clearly unhappy about it, though did not insist on having the broths changed around. What happened next made it the most awkward and uncomfortable dining experience ever. From where we were sitting, we could hear the owner reprimanding the staff for the error, throughout our meal. We understand mistakes occur and if the owner was unhappy about the mistake and genuinely wanted to apologise, taking the initiative to change the broth to the right setup, or a complimentary drink or dish would have gone a long way. But no, he chose to reprimand the staff within our hearing for the whole dinner (which didn't help the situation one bit and made the experience worse! . We felt sorry for the staff. Even with the hospitality shortage, that was a completely wrong way to help the staff improve, nor help retain them in the long run. I don't remember anything about the food, although photos did show a good range to choose from. At the end of the meal we each received a box of hello panda, which might have helped, if not for the fact they were expired. All in all, would not recommend."
