"I have one small complaint - please offer a better selection of craft and cask beers. There are great breweries nearby (such as Old Street Howling Hops) that you could feature. Aside from that, this place is fantastic! The staff are friendly and efficient, and the Beef Wellington is amazing. Although meant for two, my friend and I devoured our plates because it was so delicious. The beef was tender, seasoned perfectly, and melted in our mouths. The duxelle had a deep earthy flavor, the puff pastry was light and crispy, and the sides were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed some tasty triple-cooked chips and a bottle of red wine that paired nicely with the meal. In Central London, a Beef Wellington like this would cost over £70 alone, so this was great value for money. The pub had a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere with great music, making it a pleasant dining experience. I would definitely come back for another Beef Wellington and a bottle of wine. Kudos to the chef and bartender for a wonderful afternoon!"

This is our top choice for a Sunday Roast! The food is delicious and the service is quick with a friendly team. Be sure to make a reservation as they tend to be busy.

We had a very enjoyable afternoon here. I would recommend the Beef Wellington for 2. Really tasty. I don’t think it needed the salad?! but hey ho. Toilets are phenomenal. Look forward to returning.

The restaurant had poor hygiene practices when serving our drinks, with the bartender handling ice and lemon slices with his bare hands. Cutlery was also being wiped on a dirty tea towel before being given to customers. While the food was decent, the greasy chips dampened our overall experience and we do not plan on returning.

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The beef wellington was one of the best I've ever had. The total bill came to £44 for two people. We also celebrated with a bottle of Lukerent Perrier rosé champagne, which was delicious and reasonably priced at £90 (compared to other restaurants). The service was very nice and the bathrooms were well-maintained. They are unisex bathrooms, which didn't bother me but may be a concern for some people.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Brat restaurant. The flavors were delicious, especially the sweet dishes which had hints of orange glaze. They were not the typical British dishes, as they were cooked in a unique way. I ordered the beef roast, which was incredibly tasty. The service was exceptional, with attentive waiters who never stopped working. Despite the restaurant being full of customers, they gave us their undivided attention. It was a great experience overall.

The experience was underwhelming. The staff were friendly and eager to please, but the decor of the restaurant was in need of an update. The Sunday lunch we had was average at best - the beef was tough, the broccoli was barely cooked, and the lamb was overly fatty. Overall, the quality of the food did not meet our expectations. There are better options for Sunday roasts available elsewhere. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I would consider returning if I knew the food had improved (some of our companions had a positive experience with the beef wellington on a previous visit, so we were hopeful).

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at the restaurant. We paid £40 for a Christmas roast expecting it to come with all the trimmings, but it fell far short of our expectations. The manager rushed us to come in before the kitchen closed, and when our food arrived, we were shocked at how little we received. Despite hoping that the missing trimmings would arrive later, they never did. The food was average at best, and we felt like we had been ripped off. Despite expressing our disappointment to the waiter and manager, we were met with excuses and dismissive behavior. It's a shame that our local pub has left us feeling so let down, and we won't be returning.

I have a small criticism to point out, please consider offering a wider variety of craft and cask ales instead of just Doom Bar and Beavertown. Despite this, the restaurant is fantastic! The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The beef wellington was absolutely delicious, tender and perfectly seasoned. The duxelle was flavorful and the puff pastry was light and crispy. The sides of broccoli, cauliflower, and hand-cut chips were also well-prepared. The meal was complemented perfectly by a bottle of red wine. In central London, a dish like this would easily cost over £70. The atmosphere was quiet and sophisticated, with great music playing in the background. Overall, it was excelle...
