"We stopped by for lunch and drinks at noon on a Thursday before our train. We shared a cheese and ham toasted sandwich, a beef baguette, fries, and sweet potato fries. The food was fresh and delicious. We spent under £35 for two main dishes, two sides, and two drinks. The pub was bustling for a Thursday lunchtime, and the service was very friendly. Fitzwilliam station is just a 10-minute walk away, making it an ideal spot for dinner or drinks while waiting for your train. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

After waiting 50 mins for our Sunday dinner, it was only aired. Good food ,good variety, but a cold roast not good.

Visited a couple of weeks ago. Wasn’t sure what to expect as I’d never heard of it, but the food was exceptional, a good price and will definitely be back.

Fantastic staff and customer service. Plenty of parking. I believe expensive on looking at other similar offers. That said would recommend as food is good quality.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday dinners here! We opted for the turkey dinner, and it did not disappoint—truly authentic home-cooked flavors. This was definitely one of the best meals we've had in a long time! If you appreciate great cooking, this place is a must-try. @QueenOfCastlesLeeds Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went here yesterday and was very disappointed, only had sirloin steak no other steak on the menu, pub was very dated and food very under par, no disabled facilities, man shouting out his drug test came back clean so could see his kids, food at other side the same but cheaper, had to walk through to other pub for toilets, wouldn't recommend or return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50

"I’m really sorry to have to write this review, as we’ve been to Bake My Day approx in excess of 20 times in the past. We often come with friends and all of us feel the same and agree with comments below. Food is of good quality, although portion sizes vary I ordered avocado on toast and paid £2.50 for extra bacon; it came with 1 slice of bacon which is disappointing. they can’t accommodate children. I asked for 1 2 scrambled eggs and beans for our 18 month old and was told everything is pre packaged into adult portions therefore I’d have to order from the adult menu. I can’t understand why it’s too much trouble to cook 2 scrambled eggs and put some beans in a pan. Also, is it really that fresh if everything is pre made??? staff are very hit and miss. Sometimes friendly but often a bit stand off ish. We often don’t feel that welcome (plenty of other reviews also mention this). food timings. Food often comes late and we rarely eat together. We ordered 4 breakfasts (5 including the child’s) and there was 25 mins between the first and last arriving. finally the cost. We often get a cake/flapjack to take away and the bill is always around the £50 mark. I don’t mind paying for good food but when I pay £50 for 2 people and a child to have breakfast I expect exceptional service. We pay approx £90 100 between the 4 of us and this price is similar to 5* and Michelin establishments in Leeds and York such as The Ivy and The Star In The City. Unfortunately the 4 of us have decided that this is the last straw for us which is disappointing as we like to support small local businesses. If it’s too much trouble to make some scrambled eggs and beans for my daughter, and if it’s too hard to ensure all 4 breakfasts come out at the same time, and if it’s too hard to be welcoming to customers, especially when I’m paying £50 for breakfast, then I’ll take my custom elsewhere."
