"We went tonight whilst in the area as there were good options for vegans and non vegans alike. Really blown away by the food, it was all delicious and it was so good to see so many vegan options available. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend"

"A good stay but some details overlooked. My room bin was not emptied from the previous guests. Ornaments in the room on the shelving not dusted for quite some time. Hand wash empty, not replenished from previous guests. It was a lovely warm room, the window was easy to open, it was nice to have the radio already on when we arrived. The bed was really comfortable. polite check-in staff. I Paid for two superior King rooms, friends we were staying with paid less for a cosy King, but were given an upgrade that was nice. We Enjoyed a lovely evening meal, negative reviews on the food seem unfair. The restaurant staff in general are polite but definitely not friendly. I would feel intimidated to complain through fear of getting into a heated exchange. Lots of eye rolling behind managers back, and generally a tense atmosphere because of this."

"Went here at the weekend for a meal. We had fish chips which was perfectly presented, sadly the taste didn’t match the appearance. The fish in particular tasted of burnt overused fat and the meal overall was greasy. It was a shame as the beer garden here is absolutely beautiful, much care and work has gone into this lovely area however the taste of the food should match the appearance. However at the prices charged this really needs to be worked on. I will return and try something else, but it won’t be the fish and chips again for certain. Maybe if the fat was changed more frequently and more attention given to the oil they use for frying it would improve things."

"Went for Sunday lunch and can honestly say that I can't remember when I've had a better meal out. Food was cooked perfectly, staff were attentive and final bill was very reasonable. Will definitely be going again. Vegetarian options: Good range if vegetarian and vegan options on the menu Dietary restrictions: Staff easily managed our dietary restriction and checked with the kitchen a couple of times when we had questions Service: Dine in"
