"This is a Wetherspoons which is very good on occasions and extremely annoying on others; yet provides very good value for money for drinks and food. Some of the staff here work really hard to welcome you and provide excellent customer service; others however do...not have a ounce of common sense, are rude and incompetent. The real ale fan will be disappointed by the selection of only two guest ales at best, however they are normally kept very well. The food is standard Wetherspoon fare, as are the drinks; the pub offers greater value for money than anywhere else in the town and is worth a trip from the nearby Gatwick Airport five minutes on the train and a short walk)."

All food very good and tasty. Good real ale too. Great value as expected. Only let down was straight up whiskey served with ice. Please stop doing that!

Sunday, March, donate organized event, so many people over. eating was good, photos are appropriate. I had the panini, others had the breakfast and one had a jacket kartoffel. the service was a little slow but not surprising.

I pop in here regularly for their excellent breakfast and occasional evening pint or three. Clean, very spacious , efficient and friendly staff, quick service, OK to good food and fantastic prices. Well run and definitely worth a visit.

Visited with friends for both drinks and food. Whilst reasonably busy, food ordered by means of the app arrived speedily and was of reasonable quality and great price as were the drinks. Staff members also called at the table to ensure that all was as...ordered and that we were satisfied as indeed we all were. Well done!

opens early, closes late, decent size venue. in the evening, when it is busy, it may be difficult to find a table, like the empty, usually have stacks of unclear boards from earlier diners. Nevertheless, not too much can expect from a spoons....The workers are enough of looking for as if they tolerate it being there, some of the workers on the morning see about miserable, but who can blame them.

The place is looking tired and feels dirty. The booth material seats do not appear to have been washed in years. Parts of the wooden seats are broken. Worse of all is the tables and contact points dont appear to be cleaned after use and...if they are its hit and miss when they are done or which ones. You literally are taking your life in your hands in here. Im sure the pub has a duty of care towards its customers and if so they arent doing much about it.

I visited the Jackfairman in horley and was met with smiles at the bar wasn't a long wait at all to be served the gentleman who brought my food over was very nice he had welcomed me back as I had visited a couple of...days prior all round very nice no check back though so if I did have a problem with my food i'd have to go up to the bar but the atmosphere was pleasant, good lighting also friendly staff I had a vegetarian breakfast and it was very tasty also well presented.
