I had a delightful lunch of cottage pie with vegetables and gravy. It was very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantasic meal of gammon and pineapple and my husband had steak pie and said it was lovely it was so nice we are going back again today

not gourmet, but a really excellent meal, hot and tasty. beautiful chips and lots of meat in the cake. beautiful dessert and friendly helpful service.

Try the special! Home made food at excellent prices, inside and outside seating, disability friendly. Highly recommend! The Steak Pie is an absolute must try!!

beautiful meal today. friendly service. eat is cooked to order....but that is worth waiting. they feel into the restaurant, very clean and tidy. will go back there.

Excellent Christmas meal with friends, food was hot, plenty of fresh vegetables and the staff went above and beyond to provide an alternative to meat and dairy for me. Lovely decorations provided a lovely atmosphere.

Just had the Christmas Special Lunch and it was superb . Beautiful meat freshly cooked vegetables and gravy in a boat all piping hot. Sweets we all lovely coffee and mince pies included . Special effort made to accommodate one of us who was vegan . Thanks to all for making it so special.

Really friendly welcome. Had 3 courses for £14. 99 on Saturday evening. Garlic bread to start, plaice, chips and salad for main and sponge and custard for pudding. Lovely home cooked, food and good portions. Yes the decor is slightly dated, but for us that adds to the experience, it's like going home. We will be back. Thank you so much x
