"excellent service and excellent eating. the personal is unbelievable, the art as they are welcomed is so important and often overlooked in other restaurants. to be met in such a friendly and helpful way, always puts the ton, a very good in it! . eating is exquisite. I am not one for photos of my eating, but a take on the lake. it is a pleasure to consider eating before eating it! it is really high-quality eating with a twist. we always look forward to the attention of the staff and the excellent food. please don't forget, lake isle, let me know if they ever want to sell this kiefer. many thanks to mark in rutland antiques centre"

Gorgeous room. Excellent restaurant. The quality and presentation of the food was outstanding. Breakfast was also fantastic; the homemade muesli was the best I've ever had.

we went to lunch today after we went not far to the aqua park in rutland. it's really a little hidden gem. eating was amazing. we had three courses, lamb was incredible. only for three courses and two drinks came £69. amazing quality, waitress was also fabulous. w fast service.

the Isle Lake has never come short. the welcome is warm, the service and the level of personal attention is fantastic and the eating is excellent. we thought on the way through to my parents for christmas, and the restaurants position on uppingham high street meant that, as we were at one of the window tables, we had a beautiful view of the decorated old world building. this place is great at any time of the year, but this stop. many thanks, richard and janine, we will see you soon.
