Incredibly beautiful experience I can only agree with the other reviews. The owner and his team are incredibly friendly. The food is really very artistic and thought out down to the smallest detail. The most amazing restaurant in Volterra, full stop. The owner is charming, the menu is diverse and innovative, and the atmosphere is laid back. We returned several times throughout our trip to try other dishes and will be back again soon! After a week of salad or spaghetti with tomato sauce, what a treat to find a full plant based menu! Every course was delicious, so thoughtfully put together and beautifully presented. Then, to top it all, a choice of FOUR desserts (and not one of them sorbet or fruit salad! . An absolute gem, wish I wasn’t just passing through as I’d definitely return, it was excellent. We ate here three times during our week in Volterra because the food is excellent, the staff are friendly, efficient and good English speakers, and the setting (on a 3000-year-old street) is fantastic. Under the glass floor of the indoor eating area you can see a well and street paving from the Etruscan and Roman eras. We particularly enjoyed the zucchini soup, the handmade gnocchi with artichokes, parsley and garlic and the aubergine parmigiana. All full of flavour and really delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Ho cenato qui con la mia famiglia e ne sono uscita entusiasta. L'ambiente è davvero splendido e il proprietario è una persona molto accogliente e cordiale, due cose che hanno reso la serata ancora più piacevole. Ho mangiato veramente benissimo, l'ottima cucina vegana ha messo d'accordo tutti, anche chi solitamente ha qualche pregiudizio riguardo a quest'alimentazione.Siamo stati benissimo e, se mai tornassimo a Volterra, sarebbe senz'altro una tappa obbligatoria. Consiglio a tutti di dare a questo splendido locale una possibilità.
