Big sign outside saying breakfast served so went in on a Sunday morning to be turned away. We are locals too so we were looking for a nice place to have breakfast. Rude man turned us away so that’s their second chance gone! I think pounds are more important than people! Service: 1 Location: 3

The Lodge is one of favourite places. It’s got a hotel, restaurant, bar and anazing outdoor area. The team are super friendly and always work hard to take care of you. I stayed here with my wife on a Saturday. It is in an excellent location for a visit to the imperial war museum. The grounds are beautiful, as is the building itself. The staff were great too. One little improvement I’ll mention. The bed was not that comfortable, it was okay. But not one you wake up and go “ahhhh yeahhhhhh” Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5

Me and my husband come here once a year to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this year just blew us away. The food and service from Craig was just outstanding, even the chefs spoilt us with a surprise dessert. Exactly why we keep it special and just enjoy once a year. Thank you to all the staff.
