"This is my first visit to Wales, and this is the first place I sat down to eat in WalesI had to kill some time while waiting to check-in at my hotel (which is next door). So I took a gamble and checked out this Pub/Restaurant. I am vegan, so it is always interesting going in blind in a new and unknown restaurant. I did not know what to expect when entering, so I only aimed to get some fries and a coffee. But when I opened the menu I saw that they had a good amount of vegan options. And what is better....all the vegan options had a green label on them. They have one marking for vegetarian and one for vegan options. The vegetarian options was marked like this (V), The Vegan options had a green label that said vegan that (V). Very easy to navigate the menu. I had a vegan burger with sweet potato fries, a black coffee and the vegan apple pie! It tasted really good and fresh. I will probably try to come back here another day during my week long stay, so I can try out some of the other vegan options"

very impressed by the vegan options and clear marking options on the menu (separate vegan menu table also available). was a relief to be in a pub and have more than a vegan burger. great to see vegan options clearly highlighted on the children's menu.

The food at this restaurant is overpriced and lacks enjoyment. The vegan burger was bland, and the nachos and salads labeled as 'vegan' were simply the regular options with milk removed. I expected to pay the same price for a meal that had less flavor and fewer ingredients. View menu

I was very impressed with the vegan options and clear labels on the menu at this restaurant (they also offer a separate vegan menu). I tried the buffalo cauliflower wings with salad, spicy giant burger, and sweet chili tofu. It was a nice change to find more than just a vegan burger at a pub. I was pleased to see that vegan options were clearly marked on the children's menu as well.

I'm sure there were some pretty healthy options on the menu, but our eyes just went for the mule food, and it was gooood! and such a pleasant surprise to find an “average pub” like this with such a choice of vegan options! service was also great! defo recommend. that said the cabinet of spining chicken carcasse on the way in was quite disturbing off-putting... hopefully with enough support of the vegan menu that will soon be a thing of pastness.

The vegan options for dining are very limited around here, so it was nice to see somewhere making a bit of an effort. The food was alright, we shared a salad, onion rings and a saag aloo. The saag aloo seemed out of place on the menu, but was definitely the best part of our meal. For dessert we had the chocolate praline tart and the apple pie. The ice cream that came with them was coconut. Overall they were both ok, but the pie would have been much nicer with custard, (on the menu but not vegan).

visit them regularly here. it is a clean decent place with beautiful environment. and the beer is also excellent. veggie and vegan options are limited, but they make an effort and have a small vegan/vegetarian menu that they may have to ask as their not always at the table. if they like or used to like burger, I recommend the jack burger. comes with a pull-pork style grill jack bohnen and is delicious, definitiw not a compromise with a pet meat burger, its actually much better than most I eat. it comes with vegan shiny and fries and it is an excellent meal imo
