"found this pub randomly in my first night in wales (I got out of Canada and did not know what to expect). Immigration and was immediately greeted with smiling faces a beautiful fire. in just a few minutes I shared with the local pints and laughed with them when we were struggling and local struggling. the owner, robin, is a fascinating and friendly man who had the most brilliant adventurous; if they are lucky, he will tell them about some. ask for his handmade waterfall fountain, it is fantastic! the drinks were fantastic and very cheap, and some nights make a local cooking pizza in the garden that is lovely positiw. the pub itself is really beautiful. dach, a stone floor, a cozy fire, gorgeous wood beams, and so much warm and history; they can literally feel that hundreds of years have been great nights there. I had the honor to meet some really outstanding people, including wynn, a regular they laugh, so hard the drinking come, but also incredible strata about wales and his folk can tell. all in all, I had one of my best pub nights here. it was one of the perfect nights where the right people gather in the right atmosphere and the result is something similar to the magie. if they are in the opposite, I suggest to enter for a pint."

I stopped by for a few drinks on a rainy Saturday night. The beer and wine selection was good, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Prices ranged from £1–10 per person. Service and atmosphere both rated a 5 out of 5.

I went to this restaurant for pizza on Wednesday and it was amazing! The Morretti pint was beautiful. We sat in the garden which was lovely and the place had a friendly atmosphere. The price per person was between £10-£20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying their wood fired pizza.

Driven past here a few times since arriving 5 days ago and decided to try out the woodfired pizza this evening. Only available Mon Weds from 6pm. Made on site and can be eaten in the pub or taken away. All staff very helpful and had a nice chat with the locals whilst waiting for the pizza. They were absolutely amazing. Very tasty, fresh ingredients, freshly cooked. Well worth a try if you are in the area. Price per person: £1–10 View menu

We had a fantastic afternoon enjoying a couple of beers with the locals at this pub. Although there wasn't any food available, the local real ale and friendly banter made up for it. Our dog, Darcy, was warmly welcomed and even given treats along with the pub's dog. We spent a wonderful couple of hours chatting and laughing with the locals and the landlady. The local Welsh beer was delicious and the company was great. We will definitely be visiting again when we come back!

while we have a weekend in kidwelly, we have checked travel advisors for opening hours, from midday to midnight, I believe, was advertised. my wife and I decided to go the fair distance to the maurers while we liked the view of eating. After 25 minutes in the rain we were only asleep so that we don't find any lights, no activity and door locked! Many thanks for them poor for a wet drop of my time! I do not recommend going how, they have no idea when this place will be open, as they obviously do not keep at their own opening times, as on trip advisor.
