Very friendly staff, good service and great 70's retro pub grub. Whats not to love.

I always enjoy dining at Hen Vic. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch with a rating of 5 across the board.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and the value for money is beyond belief. I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10.

Catered for our party of 12 at short notice, . A wonderful Sunday roast, with a choice of meats, plenty of veg, with apple and cherry crumble for dessert. Highly recommended.

I'd like to thank the staff for the welcome we received last Saturday, all were fantastic, nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend this place, great choice of menu and lovely food.

We originally planned to dine at this restaurant for only one night and then try another one, but the value of the Friday meal was exceptional and the staff were very accommodating. Because of this, we decided to return for a second visit on Saturday. The pub food was delicious, the prices were unbeatable, and the service was excellent. Even the house wine was surprisingly good.

Arrived and asked if food available told yes so ordered a bottle of wine and waited at the table for someone to take order, 15 min later after asking if order would be taken twice still waiting then we were told only one chef and several table's still waiting to take order we decided enough was enough. Paid for wine £19 .50 WOULD NOT HAVE ORDERED WINE IF TOLD OF LONG DELAY EARLIER) SO went to the white Hart Inn . View menu
