"Booked lunch for 4 adults, we were given 2 menus one for the restaurant and one bar menu however, we were told we all had to choose from the same menu! Whats the point of that! Annoyed by that, so just give the restaurant menu in the restaurant! Couldn’t mix and match. The restaurant menu was mostly fish dishes, again one of our party doesn’t care for fish, so a more varied menu would be better. Service was excellent but we had to wait over 1/2 hour for the meals. Disappointing overall, but we will go again for sure."

Fabulous place to visit and eat. Exceptional food and very welcoming staff. I have been there quite a few times and now bring friends with us that were absolutely blow away with the place, food and welcoming staff.

The venue was beautifully old fashioned and the perfect spot in an historic town for a traditional Sunday Lunch. Large portion sizes of good food with a decent wine list. The bread rolls and accompanying flavoured butters were excellent. Bearing in mind how super busy the restaurant and bars were the service was pretty good. I would recommend certainly for a good Sunday Lunch.
