"Great pub, with a proper traditional feel. Plenty of choice on the pumps, and always seems friendly. Update: Have now been for the Sunday lunch, which was extremely good. Photo probably doesn't give it full justice, as a lot of the food isn't visable, and also sides of cauliflower cheese and dauphonoise potato. All for £11.95. Good value, fantastic quality food."

the new chequers today tested for Sunday dinner and was not disappointed! very friendly staff and service! and the best roast in worcester hands down. piping hot and delicious! will come back soon!

Im loving what they've done with the place the staff are amazing, it's nice to see them put in the effort with the staff dressed up so well in waistcoat and ties. Lovely quirky and cool place and food is amazing.You must try trust me you will come back

We had our daughter’s funeral reception there. The staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. There was a wide range of foods available including vegetarian and vegan. The price was also very reasonable. Overall, I would fully recommend this venue to anyone. Thank-you all staff.

Had a Sunday lunch here and was not disappointed. Only £11.95! Friendly staff, quick service. Will definitely be going back...maybe have dessert this time!
