"The venue is really nice and cosy. The food was excellent. The only minor negative points were that there was only one girl who was both waitressing and looking after the bar poor girl was rushed off her feet but did an excellent job with a smile but we felt sorry for her even though it made service a little slow but understandable. The other thing was that the car park was like an ice rink with the freezing weather and the walk round to the front door was hazardous as it had not been gritted but thankfully we managed negotiate our way very carefully but being 4 older ladies we were a bit nervous. We did have a nice time with lovely food and by the time we left the same girl had been outside and tried her best to salt some of the ice on the path."
