"Had a lovely Sunday lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the veggie option coming with the usual full trimmings. Great choice for the meat eaters too. The rhubarb trifle was amazing. Service dip was merely length of time before our desserts arrived even if we had been forgotten in the rush, just let us know. Waiting staff friendly to the point where all diners are greeted like long lost friends, yet given space to relax and enjoy the surrounds, food and company."

Everything was perfect. Took my dad for a late lunch which was lovely as we didn't want to eat too early . Food was lovely.

Sat in beer garden with the wife, in the sun with a wonderful view over the harbour and had a couple of excellent pints of Theakstons best. What could be better.

10 well kept beers on tap. Great view of the Farne Islands, Well-stocked Gin Bar, roaring fire and traditional Northumbrian feel. Probably the best pub in the world.....

A table for Sunday meals booked. Many menu choices and when the food arrived, WOW! Many meats, beautiful variety of vegetables, a huge Yorkshire pudding and delicious Gravy.

Evening meal was a roast, ok buth some items cold and no mint sauce for the lamb despite asking twice? Breakfast kipper good, bacon and egg overcooked need a bit more attention to detail
