"We visited on a Wednesday evening, was busier than We expected, nice decor and atmosphere. The food was good, I had the mozzerella salad, fresh and tasty, Mrs D had brushcetta and it was delicious. I had a mixed grill main, was ok, but said fillet steak on menu, but it was not fillet served. The mac'n'cheese had cinamon in which was awful. Mrs D had chicken Gyros which was nicely cooked but served with tatziki pasted on the flatbread and chicken dumped on top, would have preferred them seperate with Tatziki in a put so she could decide how much she fancied. Draft lager (Poretti? Was delicious. The biggest letdown of the evening was the service. There was a new girl who was polite and friendly, but the girl training her was ignoring her and chatting to another table, we waited (listening to her conversation about her apprenticeship/college dillemma for 15 minutes for her to show the new girl how to pour lager, then as we were eating our meal she returned to the same table leaving an older couple waiting another 12 minutes to pay their bill and leave. All in all, we would say the olive tree is worth a visit. Perhaps the new girl will be trained now, and it will be better to visit the next time. I will update this review next visit."

Charming restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. It was quite busy, and we were informed that there might be a delay in serving food due to having only one chef. However, we didn't wait long at all, and the food was outstanding. I enjoyed the early special—two courses for just £11, which is fantastic value. The drinks were reasonably priced as well. Overall, a great dining experience! View menu

Food just warm Beef over cooked. Very tough Almost onky 2 table spoons of custard for large bowl apple crumble. Took far to long to get plates taken and asked if we wanted sweet. I had to ask for this. No one asked the whole time there if everything was ok . Waiter who brought the bill was very friendly. Serving girl was not Shame poor service on sunday lunch as we have eaten evening meals before and very good. Unlikely to go again. .

I made a reservation for an early dinner at 6:30 PM. We waited over 45 minutes before the waitress informed us that the kitchen was backed up and there would be a long wait for food—this was even before we placed our order. Overall, we ended up waiting a total of 90 minutes before our meals arrived, and the food was frankly bland. I ordered a pizza that had virtually no flavor! Throughout the experience, we did not receive any apology for the delay, and at no point did anyone check in to see if our food was satisfactory, not even when we asked for the bill. I certainly will not recommend this restaurant or return myself. It’s a shame because the decor is quite nice, and it’s located in a gre...

"If you 're into the whole busy, family beach visit then this place is for you. They 've recently added a Greggs and Co-op around the other side of where the chippy is (behind it). As well as a quaint little cafe on the corner. You can 't miss it, it 's as you drive into the car park, on the right side. There 's a free park for the kids, a nice green for the dogs to run around, with seating placed around the edges and near the long (life guards) building, it 's the one with the taller part of the building towards the seafront. The beach is pretty much always kept clean as well as the hard paved concrete walking area alongside it. You also get a great view out to sea, minus the few wind turbines. Dogs are allowed around the area and there 's even a mobile, self service dog wash to get all that sand off before getting back into the car. There 's plenty of accessible parking too, just as you enter the car park, located right next to the cafe. There are also public toilets located in the 'long building ' on the opposite side of the cafe chippy. As if you 're walking towards the sea. Pretty sure there 's a small charge to use them. The chip shop service is good, but it can get really busy, so be prepared to wait. The food is 'alright '. It 's not the best chippy and the prices just seem to be forever climbing, but it 's okay. If you want cheaper cans bottles of pop, I 'd suggest using the co-op. There 's also an ice cream van that usually parks up near the accessible parking area. If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up Thanks for reading, And I hope you enjoy your day there here "
