"Visited on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30pm didn't need to book. Its a large place so even though there were people in there it looked quite empty. We had the Carvery, meat was nice, good selection Gammon, Turkey, Pork and Beef. Not a great selection of vegetables but edible Peas, broccoli, parsnips, carrots and cauliflour cheese that had nearly finished, no rush to replace it, we were told it would be 5 minutes. Yorkshire puddings weren't great, far too crispy and oily, Mr Foodiegurl pointed out it was more like a prawn cracker! All in all, value for money, you gets what you pay for. Not amazing."
