"We were seated in the upstairs dining area which is a lovely room, menus and a round of drinks were promptly brought to the table but then the waiting began. Hopefully this was just a bad night for the kitchen, the food was very good just a shame that it took so long to arrive. The table next to us were offered a free round of drinks, we weren’t. As I said hopefully just a bad night for the kitchen so we will give you another visit."

Great village pub with exceptional food, owner was so helpful. Even allowed us to go in for breakfast the next day as staying in Airbnb opposite. Super location well worth a visit.

amazing cozy pub in a small village. we decided to book a frying in advance on Easter Sunday after we walk around the quantock hills. so glad that we eat impeccable service from everyone and great tasting! if we ever visit the opposite in future, we know where we fall in. 10/10

the restaurant is booked on the line. it's a nice old pub. the selection was good. the most important courses were all enjoyed but the desserts sad, not so much. the sticky toffee pudding was very dry, and not really warm the ice not melt. the crumb was not after our taste, as it was quite muddy. Maybe if we return, we will try the starters.
