The Original Farmers Arms

Excellent meal for our family of six. We all had different things. The food was good, the service was good and the surroundings were good. We will definitely go again.

It can be challenging to find parking during peak times at this restaurant. The parking situation is somewhat difficult, but there is a free parking lot available as an option.

I was cold on my visit, a little wait for the food. The food was ok, very well priced, affordable I had the patě, with bread, which was really nice. When we called, the restaurant was fairly quiet with patrons enjoying their meals in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There is outdoor seating available and ample parking spots. It's worth stopping by if you happen to be in the area. Although we didn't sample the food, the service and atmosphere both received a rating of 4 out of 5. The restaurant has excellent food, great service, and is not too crowded. I would definitely return, as the friendly staff was wonderful. However, there aren't many vegetarian options available. The dining experience was for dinner, with a price range of £30-£40 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. I would recommend this place for vegetarians, but make sure to check the menu first.

Have not been to this pub/ restaurant for a while, and it used to be a great place to eat. We went just recently and had a very poor meal, supposed to be chicken tikka it was more like chicken and onions with gravy and a small spoonful of curry powder, has to be the worse’s chicken tikka I have ever had. There used to be a lovely display of sweets under the counter, but not anymore. We did wonder why the place was so quiet and empty, now we know why, it was a terrible meal and we will,not be returning anytime soon.

This restaurant is a traditional pub with a restaurant section. They offer a wide variety of dishes on their extensive menu, as well as a small bites menu and at least 15 specials posted on the wall. My companion and I decided to order from the main menu and selected the lasagne and a mixed grill. Although we had to wait a bit, the wait was worth it as our food arrived piping hot on warm plates and freshly cooked. The portion sizes were also very generous. Both dishes were delicious. The woman who served us managed both the bar and restaurant and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was taken care of. She was cheerful and helpful throughout our meal.
