"came with the boot and used the moorings front (run from a third). terrible weather, but we found a place in fire and warmed up with drinks. although no tables were available (book in advance we could eat on the sofas, which was good. Eating was excellent, good veg options, and service was brilliant. warm fire, nice dogs, good food. if they are looking for an alternative, they say that came hotel or colintraive for a night with eating and drinking disturbs that is a big scream."

I didn't eat here, but I wish we had a good look at the food diver.

Didn't manage to get in here so I rated it middle of the road as I really can't comment. It does have peculiar opening hours off season. Monday and Tuesday its shut for sure Sunday is a couple of hours in the afternoon other than that I gave up trying...

this place is a jewel! the location is perfect. if they are boring, they can drive here, but otherwise they drive by bike through the beautiful cowal half island or drive their boat here through hole fyne. there is also a great small beach. now for the real pub; phoebe and steve are amazing hostess. the food (and the ale) is local and tasty and the service is wonderful and as they can see from the pictures, they are 100% dog friendly.

beautiful pub, beautiful location directly at the corner of the road on the water. they also have outside seats that can be seen over the water and can observe the sunset. dogs are allowed inside as well as outside. toilets available. the booking is definitely recommended for this facility as they are apparently open adhock hours. I can't comment on eating because they didn't serve when we went there. but what I can say is that the hot chocolate is very beautiful!

"We booked this restaurant after reading the reviews while touring Scotland what a disappointment. When we arrived we were shown to a table straight behind the door and as it kept opening and shutting it blew a massive amount of cold air in. As both parents and staff allowed 2 young children to go in and out every few minutes it got a bit much. We were given the menu and told specials were on the board. No description or recommendation. Also they did not say the board also goes over the top of the fish on didplay. I had crab claws to start the mayonnaise was lovely and what I could get out of the claws was nice but I was given no instruments to get into the claws and they were not broken enough for them to just pull out. I ordered the turbut for main as did my husband it was a small fillet with the skin correctly removed but it was loaded with garlic butter sauce you couldn't taste the fish for the garlic. Also which was worse I don't know what they did to the top of it but it was yellow and like thin rubber. We had to peel it off it was not good. I didn't complain at the time because I am not used to having a fillet of turbut. When I have had it before my husband and I have shared a turbut presented whole at the table. I have only written this today after speaking to some friends who said i should put something on because there had to be something wrong for the top of the fish to be yellow and leathery. You might guess but I won't be going back."
