Lovely views but service abysmal! Food not great. Plenty of staff but I had to ask several times for everything and never came

Very average food and drink , but whole experience made much more enjoyable by our naturally friendly, smiley , efficient waitress.

Food very average, service very slow . The waitress we had did not smile once and we had to attract her attention to ask for our water to be topped up.

overall a pleasant experience with high-quality eating. generous portion size, as we only ordered one afternoon tee between us. in any case would recommend and will be happy to try the afternoon again on our next stay.

We had dinner there 3 times and Diana our waitress was very attentive and the restaurant manager advised on the gluten free options on the menu. Max at the bar makes the best hot chocolates! 5 star service off all the staff

Great food and good value. View was great across the bay. Very quiet at first as we was the first guests at 18:30 on Saturday night. Strange to be first. In fairness we found this throughout our stay in Sanbanks. Very very quiet. If we are in Sandbanks again, we would most likely eat here again

45 minutes wait to receive our drinks, which we had to chase, and the restaurant wasn’t busy After waiting for over 45 minutes, we chased our food orders with the restaurant staff, who 10 minutes later advised us “that due to an error in their system” our food order had not been passed through to the kitchen An absolute shambles, hence we left without eating

We visited on a Sat evening in Nov. It was quiet but this suited us. Good variety on the menu. We were given complementary warm bread after we ordered which was delicious. I had the fish and chips which was very nice. I only wish the pea fritter had been bigger. Two of us opted for dessert as the others were too full after their mains. We didn’t have coffee but it was offered. In all a pleasant evening and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We went to the point for lunch for my daughter’s birthday. The place was almost empty, apart from a couple of other diners. It was cold in the restaurant and the service was not great. After taking our initial order and bringing our food we did not see the waiter again. We even had to go to the desk to pay when we wanted to leave. I ordered a chicken wrap, which had hardly any chicken in it and other ingredients that I was not expecting. Disappointing for the price. I have wanted to visit this restaurant for a while now and have to say I was disappointed in the whole experience.
