She is a fun lady and spent several minutes chatting with us. When she took our food order she paid particular attention to the meal choices of the children to ensure they were happy. I just like it, it's nice to relax and while waiting for trains, or buses. They provide food if customers want a meal too. I don't think it's a hotel, it's a Public house that serves, however there is a hotel near by. Walkability: Chairs are always tucked in. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 5 View menu

I stayed in the Upper Cottage room located behind the pub and was thoroughly impressed. The staff and landlady were exceptionally friendly and took great care of us. The room was perfect, as was everything throughout our stay. I give it 5 stars across the board: Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5.

On Sunday evening, I had the bratbeef along with bratkartoffeln and gravy. The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic, and I really appreciated being able to enjoy it with custard, ice cream, and cream at no extra charge. The staff, as always, were wonderful and attentive. This is a place I highly recommend to anyone looking for great food in the area, whether you're a local or a visitor—you won’t be disappointed. I'll definitely be coming back soon!
