"The place was dirty, had no staff on reception after about 5pm and none on Sunday. There was intolerable noise through the stay. The bed felt like we were sleeping on rocks. The room was very dusty and aggravated my asthma whilst the bed made my wife's already bad back much worse. The staff allowed unattended children to run up and down the stairs. The unattended exit slammed all night and added to our discomfort. When asked if we could move to a quieter room we were told not really they're all the same even though they told us they had another room. The property is cheap but to be honest misrepresented in the online description. We booked because it was quiet cheap but in retrospect we would and should have paid the extra and stayed at the premier inn."

Lovely place, delicious food, a few gluten free options but not a lot for kids. Staff really nice and can't believe how cheap the food is.

Only a few weeks since our last visit we decided to take my dad out for his 84th birthday. As ever, the food and service was excellent and nothing could be faulted. It was also great to see so many tables booked, it gave the place a great atmosphere.

went to the R Inn on Saturday for the evening and had a really nice meal and evening very tasty tapas and then spent the rest of the evening in bar area. Did not stay here so can't really comment on the rooms etc but by the number of people coming from the hotel side i would say its very popular.

Have eaten here many times since the pandemic restrictions allowed but the actual bar and eating area had been moved into what was the functions area of the premises. Now there 's been a re-vamp that has put a larger bar at the other end of the room with tables set within what used to be the dance floor. The addition of a couple of screens adjacent to the former bar area make the whole setting more comfortable than it was before but it can still cater for a huge amount of people. The food and service was a good as ever and it won 't be long before we visit again. I just hope the people of the town realise the effort that has been put in to this and embrace and support the venue.

"Richard and I, en route from Cambridge to Shropshire, chanced upon this splendid cafe in Kettering, easily accessible from the A14. The cafe occupies a cosy space with a breakfast bar by the window, offering a lovely view of the local red-brick architecture, and a fine place from which to watch the colourful characters of Kettering passing by. Unlike some cafes, there was no 'greasy spoon ' smell, which was a boon. Instead a delightful and appetite-arousing aroma of freshly cooked bacon and eggs. Richard opted for the small breakfast, and had no trouble in swapping out his eggs and tomato for black pudding and mushrooms at no extra cost. I ordered the much-vaunted breakfast baguette. The food was cooked freshly and served quickly. Richard was impressed by the appearance of his plate, and more so by the delicious food which he consumed with gusto. Richard said the bacon was well cooked, the mushrooms were good, not too greasy, generally everything was well cooked, the only thing that could have been better was the sausage, which was fine but obviously a 'standard quality ' sausage . My breakfast baguette was fantastic, the crispy bread was marvellous and the generous filling was hot and tasty, and not at all greasy. All this, plus two steaming cups of flavoursome tea for the bargain price of Β£9.90. We both took the opportunity to use the facilities and we 're impressed with their cleanliness and the provision of Radox soap. On the whole a great find. We will certainly drop in again if we pass by on another adventure."
