"Brilliant little gem of a pub hidden away at the bottom of Brettel Lane. Very nicely done out inside. Cosy little place. Some lovely little features. I wish this was within walking distance to my house. Loved it here. We had planned on going pub to pub, but decided to stay here all night. Says a lot really."

red lion burger night (donnerstag) is amazing, with a great selection available. After I said that, eating every day is great, I would definitely regain a visit. they also have a large drink selection amd friendly, responsive staff.

This is a lovely location to visit, both indoors and outdoors. They have a variety of special beers and apple wines to enjoy. It's a family and pet-friendly establishment that I would definitely recommend checking out. Just keep in mind that parking is limited to street parking only. View menu

Very nice pub great beers and nice food always look forward to this pub. The only thing that concerned me was we were sitting by the open fire which made us very cozy they decided to open the window which wasn't too bad but if they do that when it's very cold i wouldn't be very happy.

Management have gone above and beyond during covid ready for the reopening. Outdoors is simply stunning. Heaters literally everywhere so no chance of getting cold! Table service is quick and efficient and staff are friendly and helpful. Food is fantastic! Burgers and homemade chips are to die for!
