The food at this restaurant is excellent, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is charming. It has become our go-to spot in the neighborhood.

This restaurant is a beautiful place with lovely staff, including the charming Gertrude. The rooms are cozy and have a quiet, antique atmosphere. It's just perfect.

The stay was really great, even if only for one night. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to eat at the restaurant, but there's always next time! Definitely recommend staying here.

We received a wonderful and warm welcome upon our arrival. The room was beautiful and well-furnished, making it feel luxurious. The quality of the furniture was evident, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant served excellent food. We stayed in the Shipton room, which was cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The food at this restaurant is expertly prepared and served in a lovely setting. The staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the Cornish Battered Fish Chips and was impressed by the thick piece of fish and perfectly crispy batter. The accompaniments were just right. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, making it a nice change of pace from the busier spot down the road. I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel is absolutely charming from the moment you pull into the carpark. The courtyard and entrance are stunning, and the main hall leading to the bar and dining room is full of character. We were warmly greeted by the hosts Andrew and Ann, who were fantastic in sharing the history of the hotel and giving us a tour. The bar was great and the breakfast was delicious - we only wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are beautiful with the added bonus of underfloor heating in the bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and we felt right at home.

My husband and I were traveling through the Cotswolds and decided to stop at this historic inn, which is said to be one of the oldest in England. Unfortunately, the bar was closed when we arrived. However, the new owners kindly opened up for us. Tom, the owner's son, took a break from restoring the inn to serve us the best alcohol-free beer we have ever tasted, the Lucky Saint. As we enjoyed our drinks in the beautiful medieval courtyard, both Tom and his father shared with us the fascinating history of the inn and its famous guests, including Queen Elizabeth 1st and Oswald Mosley.
