Pop in to here on a Saturday night out, and found out it was under new management. So we decided to try the food, as pub food goes, it was good, and the service was excellent too. Keep the good work up. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chips, Burger

Able to look out on the canal locks while having lunch with friends. Food was excellent, fresh and delicious. Service was very good and we were well looked after. We found out when leaving that it was under new management. Wish them every success. Vegetarian options: See dietary restrictions! Dietary restrictions: A wide selection of food plus good vegetarian options with calories counted next to each meal. Also lighter bites for smaller appetites but still a decent sized portion

We went here a couple of weeks ago for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed our roast, the new owners were very welcoming and friendly. Went here again last night with Daughter and son in law, we all had different meals and they were all absolutely lovely and tasty, again owners and staff very helpful and friendly, my hubby said he has noticed the beer tastes nicer since he went about six months ago. I'm looking forward to more visits there in the future, Rob, Lisa and dog Millie thoroughly recommend

We visited in October on the day the establishment changed hands, which is relevant because it was their excuse for everything; not one meal arrived as ordered they didn’t know their own menu, none of the meals came at the same time, when taken back to the kitchen completely different meals from what was ordered came back. When we complained, we were met with a very aggressive ‘manager’ who then told us to leave extremely rude, absolute amateurs and very poor run of the mill food. Our neighbouring table had very similar experiences and we repeatedly heard the manager saying sorry to multiple customers around the restaurant! Never again!
