"We usually stay in Devon on a Monday and Tuesday when unfortunately the teashop is closed. However, we were unexpectedly in Ashburton on Wednesday and couldn't wait to visit after reading the amazing reviews on Trip Advisor. We were certainly not disappointed. I would have paid an entrance fee just for the entertainment alone without the food. Great choice from snacks to main meals, scrummy homemade cakes and a vast selection of teas. Wonderful, wonderful service. Can't wait to go back."

They find fantastic today when I needed a bit of comfort and a friendly face or two. the sawnetee was divine and I loved her little helper, who cleared away all the crumbs! Thank you, I will bring friends next time!

A wet Friday afternoon, nothing better than a warm welcome, a big pot of tea and some yummy cake! and not forgetting the adorable Pickles bless her, who I am sure will be putting on a few pounds due to the crumbs and nibbles as she is so cute! thank you for your hospitality. x

Had an excellent afternoon tea. Good range of sandwiches which include, let me tell you, Sandwich spread and also sardines on toast. These are choices so rarely available they had to be tried. OK I'm of an age and these make for fond childhood memories. Equally important ant was the craic. The two owners and, I guess, four friends were highly entertaining.
