Everyone we go to Castleford we.come here. We love it it's small busy and tightly spaced but it's good grub for little money. Not.kuch veggie options though

A very busy cafe, great service, food was excellent and exceptional value for money. Very clean. Would recommend anyone to call in and try anything on the menu.

Have to give this 5 stars, the food is delicious. My wife and I both had quiche, chips, coleslaw and salad. Really enjoyed it also excellent and friendly service by Nicky.

I have genuinely been eating here since chil dhood and I'm now 48. Roast beef dinner ith chips and a coffee us my favourite meal and has been for decades .STOP READING AND GO ,NOW!!!!!

Busy cafe next to the market hall. Full of families out for a shop or meeting up. There is a good choice of items on the menu, not trendy but traditional, good value food from breakfasts through to roast dinners. Coffee and tea are good too. View menu

This cafe serves the best homemade food that is always served hot and delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are always willing to help. The warm atmosphere is inviting, and we even had our dog with us who was brought a bowl of water. The only downside is that we live in York and wish this cafe was closer.

Generous servings of classic dishes. The steak pie and Sheppards pie come with three vegetables and the choice of mashed potatoes or chips. Additionally, we ordered a large cheese and tomato sandwich and a very big chip butty for my daughter. This restaurant is a wonderful spot that provides affordable meals for the local community without any airs or pretension.

The food is excellent, they have loads of your old favourites such a spam and horlicks and lemon and lime which you don't see in cafe's often. Staff are friendly and polite and the restaurant is clean. Could only find 2 negatives. First are the tables as the chairs are fixed to them with metal bars so you can't move them back to create more space so for larger fellows like me, they are uncomfortable. Second is their breakfast. Like the rest of the food it is on the expensive side but not over priced but it has no hash browns and non are offered. This is a big omission for me.
