"The restaurant has a nice, clean, and empty car park, with good access for disabled people. The inside was clean but looked a bit dated. The caddy with menus, cutlery, napkins, and sauces was clean. The staff could improve by checking the caddy for enough salt, pepper, and sauces before service starts. The food was surprisingly good for the price. The Hunter's Chicken was excellent with perfectly cooked peas. However, the portion sizes were smaller compared to other pubs. The service was good, with a helpful and cheerful cook checking in on us. The wine was a bit expensive but the food was reasonably priced. The restaurant was quiet with clean toilets. There were limited options for seniors and children on the menu. Overall, a good experience and we would be happy to return for lunch. It was surprising to see the restaurant so empty on a Monday."

We had a delightful and peaceful lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I ordered the chicken kebab, while my friend opted for the hunters chicken roll.

Was really worried about eating here as not much that was of vegan, except some spicy which I cannot eat. BUT the girl behind the bar went and spoke to the chef, who managed to sort out a salad, which was great.

The food is amazing and the staff are ever so friendly and helpful ! We had cheesy topped nachos , topped chips, chili cheese poppers and Louisiana chicken strips ! It was so tasty and great value for money. Thankyou to Hannah and the team for making our experience amazing

Had amazingly cooked well presented cooked breakfast at the welcome inn this morning. Bar staff lovely very helpful and polite also got to bring my assistant pug who appeared to enjoy her time at the pub very relaxed....Best grene king breakfast top marks to the grill chef comming from a chef thank you
