"Staying in Llanidloes and decided to go to this pub for tea. Not dog friendly inside. Had a meal in the marquee at the back. Fish, chips and peas was my choice. The fish was clearly a supermarket, battered cod, which was cooked until very, very dark brown, almost burnt. My partner had tacos with the smallest amount of cheese. Most were left."

Came for food tonight. Waiting an hour between each course. Had a young child with us. The food was the average pub grub. Was told the kitchen was busy but yet only saw 2 other tables eating food. Very disappointed Couldn't help View menu

Great beer and a quaint, small garden at the back next to a small carpark. Disappointed that we didn't get to eat there and wish when they told us they didn't do food on a Monday, they had said and not on a Tuesday either. Could have saved us a trip. Lovely friendly staff.

Great beer garden for the warmer months. Just been to a wake there on Wednesday for one of our closest friends. The food provided was quality. Ambiance was perfect for the occasion. What a great way to say goodbye to a near and dear friend. Lots of tears shed but the staff were perfect. Thanks and well done.
