"beautiful location. beautifully maintained park, with bowling green, croquetted grass, a lake and a quite comprehensive children's playground. Although it was previously free to park, it is just £1.00 for four hours, which is brilliant worth! the cafeteria seems to have changed the hands since we were there, lastly, they have moved theke to the opposite end and there is no more table service. So I had to do with a fair number of rammblers, who all came for coffee and cake, which was a bit painful. the espresso machine was broken, which was unfortunately, but the filter coffees were very good. the homemade ham in the ham and cheese toasties was beautiful. we did not think that the caffe had the same atmosphere as before; the previous incarnation seemed more family-friendly, selling ice creams etc. it is located in a beautiful building, but with magnificent view over the park."

WOW came here with little expectations of a fab lunch and i was totally blown away. Great menu choices with daily specials to add. Wonderful friendly staff all set in a lovely clean and spacious environment. Views out onto Darley park all added to what was an extremely enjoyable meal.

beautiful caffe and great personal, but the coffee machine broke about 5 weeks ago and they are still awaiting a new one. from ITALY!....for gods, can they not find a suitable machine in Britain, without having to wait for weeks to import one from the country?. plunder customers about the faust I should think.
