"A fantastic little pub that gets quite busy on Sunday afternoons with both drinkers and diners, so it's a good idea to book a table in that section (dogs aren’t allowed in the dining area, but they are welcome in the rest of the pub). There isn’t a printed menu; instead, the offerings are written on a board, which suggests they change frequently. Today, we had lamb frying, plaice and chips, traditional suet steak and kidney pudding, and chili."

I have been coming here for over 2 years, always friendly and the pizzas are really tasty. Couldn't ask for more from a local country pub. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a lovely, welcoming pub with excellent beer and a spacious garden, perfect for relaxing. There are also covered seating options available, which I find very convenient. I frequent this place quite often!

A lovely local pub that has been tucked away in Eastergate. It features two small bars along with a beer garden. The selection of ales changes regularly, and they are always served perfectly. The staff is friendly, making this our go-to pub!

Me and a friend from work went down for dinner and beers, and stayed most of the evening. The food was gorgeous and the barmaids were friendly and fun (especially the one with the puppy!! Country style pubs are hard to find these days. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Great little local pub. A large group of us booked in VERY last minute and the pub were happy to accommodate us which was a very pleasant surprise. Good selection of drinks, nice classic pub food menu and sensibly priced. Will be coming back in the future for sure. Thank you Parking: Plenty of parking on a weekday. Not sure what it would be like on a weekend but appeared to be parking on the street. Price per person: £10–20
