"Had an English breakfast after a night out, with some porridge and blueberries. Overall very good in relation to price. Food was nicely cooked, served hot in good time and well presented although the black pudding was randomly brought on a separate plate. Pub was clean and quiet with plenty of choice about where to sit, thankfully no one was already getting drunk. Coffee from the machine were good enough, neither terrible or unusually impressive. Not going to think too deeply about quality of ingredients etc, but value for money it is."

Best breakfast in town unlimited coffee and great prices on food. The bartenders are great Wish I knew about this place sooner! We leave tomorrow tempted to extend my stay just to get more food here

That's really what it is. the garden is great, the staff was friendly and eating fulfilled expectations. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to experience the live music as I went to lunch, but I'll be back.

great value for money! vegan menu with several options. I often get the smashed avocado muffin with a side of rust vegan sausage hash browns as an early piece. it is a scandal that the baked beans in the vegan breakfast are heinz no added sugar that are not vegan. many possibilities to choose lunch and dinner. perfect back to place if you want something cheap, fast but tasty

"An exceptionally unique dining experience! Our holiday companion booked Pamela’s for dinner and we were unsure of what to expect, however we were assured of good quality food and a great experience and we certainly were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were shown to a table in the lounge, provided with the menus and ordered drinks. Service is exceptionally professional and friendly from arrival to departure. The decor is most unique and very fun to take in. The upstairs dining room is more casual and I loved watching the chefs in the open kitchen. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Our vegetarian diner was slightly limited for choice and there was a blip with the main course, however it was handled and recovered very well (we were unaware when booking, however we have now been advised to phone ahead a minimum of 24-hours and special meal arrangements can be made in advance for vegetarian meals). The fish cakes and miso Salmon were very delicious and cooked to perfection. The duck legs had crispy skin, moist meat and a tasty accompanying Orzo pasta. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Pamela’s for a delicious meal with 5* service. Vegetarian options: Recommended to advise the restaurant a minimum of 24-hours in advance. There were 2 starters and 1 main course (featuring pasta on all dishes) on the a la carte menu, however if you call in advance then arrangements can be made."
