I held a private bottomless brunch here and I could not have been more happy. The food was perfect and out bang on time for a group of 50. The service was incredible, Helen and Harry were a 5* team and I can't thank them enough for everything they done. No glass was ever empty and the atmosphere was amazing. Thanks so much!!

Booked a specific table for a friends 40th birthday and was told on arrival they’d given it away with some excuse that they didn’t think we were coming. My friend had arrived at 4.55 and me at 5.04 for a 5pm booking. If a mistake was made on the wine cellars end, id much rather they had just owned up to it and apologised but to put it back onto the client was disappointing. After visiting the place previously for drinks and having a good time, we had been wanting to re-visit for food. We called about half hour before hand and were able to get a table. The staff are very welcoming and the decor and an lighting just create such a nice atmosphere. We were looked after Beth who we found to be very frindly and informative. She had a created a great rapour and considering she was pretty much the only one serving she managed so well. We only ate fish and chips and bangers and mash (which although very tasty) the service and atmosphere enhanced the experience. Would definitely recommend.

Not been for a while and whilst the atmosphere was great as ever It seemed like the restaurant section was being very bravely staffed by one person and at times it felt like they were stretched, on top of that drinks orders placed through them weren’t being fulfilled by the bar. My wifes food was overdone and she couldn’t eat much of it but for the aforementioned reason an opportunity to say something didn’t come up until it was past the point it didn’t matter. The pork loin of my main was also overdone and only saved by a very nice mustard sauce. Hopefully just a slightly off night and if we return things will be as good as they used to be.

Had a lovely long lunch in the wine cellar. It's a unique venue in a cozy atmospheric cellar. Very decent lunch menu with a choice of cooked food from a set menu or selection of sandwiches. We had the set menu. The food was simple British food with a variety of meat and veg options. The portions were generous. Presentation and taste was to perfection. The pricing was very budget friendly 3 courses for Under 30 pounds). There was a good selection of beer on tap with an extensive wine menu. We had a very long and lazy lunch from 13 till 16. The waiters were attentive. Do check the opening times as it is closed early in the week. Highly recommended for that special occasion. View menu
