"Stopped by to meet a friend and decided to have a bite to eat, which was a great decision! I had the hickory burger, which had a large, very high quality patty. The chips were great and even the side salad garnish was good. The other half had a pizza , which was thin crust and with an excellent taste. The drinks were very reasonably priced for central London, for example, £12 for a bottle of house wine thats cheaper than all of my locals outside of London! The bar has a large area, so suitable for meeting up with friends. I didn't visit the restaurant upstairs, but im sure it will be of the same high quality as the bar menu, so I will definitely visit it at a later date. Oh and the bar staff are great very pleasant and attentive. Thanks for a lovely afternoon!"

Small family run restaurant upstairs. Simple thai food that's nice enough. Lunch menu is good value.

Absolutely banging burger and gin (and jäger) but maybe have some cucumber for the Hendricks next time. Still 5/5

Popped in here for a couple of pints out of the rain before catching a tube from nearby Farmington station. Very quiet on a Thursday afternoon, but friendly service.

The Three Compasses was on our way home so we stopped off for a quick pint. Local beers and ciders were on tap, and so was a hot mulled wine which was delicious given how cold we were. Great for just that, a quick pint. View menu

First visit here for a long time, with a former colleague. First thumbs up, Harvey’s. Kept remarkably well for a London pub. Food was also great two small plates rather than one large one, beef tartare and mackerel. First rate.

The pub is spacious, with lots of nooks and crannies and tables placed well. They have a pretty good selection of craft beers (I had a Doom Bar, one of my 'faves ' . It 's close to Farringdon station. Service is excellent. A good solid choice for a pint

Forget the Thai restaurant on the first floor and tune in to the excellent French restaurant above. Lovely air dried ham, super Brill and Halibut, very tasty desserts and good wines by the glass. Excellent service. Reasonable value. Try not to sit near the entrance as a cold wind can blow up the stairs from the street entrance. A great addition to the Farringdon scene. View menu

Just when you thought this was an ordinary boozer to watch the football what a surprise.!!! A very helpful young chap behind the bar made you feel v welcome in a manically busy pub, no frowns here, and with an excellent choice of ales, ciders and lagers that was good enough until the food turned up. Wow the mackerel on toast was amazing as was the ham. Really great pub!

Used to come here all the time but just have changed hands. Food average and as if this is even possible in this day and age there was a mouse running across the floor on the carpet in the middle of the restaurant. When I complained and said I wasn’t paying for the food the answer was yes we see the mice pest control come monthly!! Such a shame used to be a fantastic place :
