"It started with such excitement but very sad to report a seriously disappointing night out. Who would not be excited by the possibility of seven puddings? To the detail: Our host was a very loud person who lost the room after her first sentence and then tried to gain control by shouting over all of us in a very high pitched voice. Before the detail of each pudding I need to comment on the menu. The PC website promises 4 summer puddings and 3 traditional/ hot ones in June over promised and under delivered as we had 2 Summer and 5 hot. All puddings, especially the hot ones had the look of being bought at a cash and carry and tasted like they looked. The website mentions gooseberry fool and Eton mess but they were not at home Chocolate mousse our host promised 56% chocolate content but I do not think that was the case, 56% milk chocolate maybe average at best Spotted dick too dry, could do better. Lemon Sponge good lemon curd and decent sponge Sticky Toffee pudding too much like another steamed pudding, average. Rhubarb and apple crumble again very average. The crumble needed more time in the oven as the fruit base looked like the crumble had been chucked on top. Summer pudding poorly executed Ginger syrup sponge not gingery enough and yet another steamed sponge. Overall I thought that the quality was nowhere near what I perceived was promised. School dinner quality and canteen style service just didn’t cut it. I wouldn’t bother."

Look up the quirky Pudding Club. It’s on Fridays, sometimes Saturdays. Great location for Cotswolds.

Had a family meet up. Apparently under new ownership but it was as near perfect as it could be. Excellent food and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly

I hate to sound negative, but the experience was terrible. It felt like being on a bus tour. The atmosphere was loud and overbearing, and the desserts were disappointing.

Booked for Sunday lunch. We were all excited as the food has always been amazing and the puddings obviously to die for! We were sad to find our table was in the bar! The restaurant was closed and not in use. There was no pudding buffet anymore either. The food was very good and the service was ok. But I do think very overpriced and it’s really not the same anymore. View menu

Tried to book the pudding club via their website. It directly takes you to Three Ways Hotel. You can also book a room at the hotel through the Pudding club website. I thought the pudding club and a night stay would be ideal. It turned out that it only booked the room. NOT the pudding club. There needs to be a separate website for the rooms as no responsibility from the hotel is taken when you miss the pudding club. I booked to stay on the Saturday. The pudding club is only on Friday (so I am informed at a later date). The hotel stay was very uncomfortable too. Mattress has long seen better days.

We received a gift to dine at Three Ways House and were excited to go, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The room was small and outdated, with a toilet that had a significant amount of scale at the bottom. The Pudding Club evening was underwhelming, with a loud and annoying girl, mediocre food, and a long queue at the bar. Breakfast the next day was a selection of dry and uninspiring hot food, with limited options for toast and slow service. When we mentioned our concerns at check-out, we were told that other guests were happy with the service.Overall, our experience was disappointing and we advise the staff to spend some time in the dining room to understand the guests' dissatisfact...

Went to the pudding club supper. V dissapointing night out. Poor show by organisation that purports to represent the best of tradional British pudding. 4 of the puddings were sponge. Jam, syrup, chocolate and ginger. Remainder were average fayre. Not what youd expect if a night out where the emphasis is on celebrating the tradional British pud. Unimaginative for an organisation that has been running this same show for 40 years. Living off its past and its long standing wide ranging reputation. Cringe makingly embarrassing to have to explain to fellow guests from abroad that British pudding cuisine has very much more to offer. Dinner hosts tried their best but had been dealt a poor hand by ma... View menu

I received a voucher for Christmas to attend the pudding club and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the club only takes place on Fridays at 7pm, which made it difficult to schedule as I have a young child. After finally organizing a babysitter and booking a Friday, I encountered difficulties with the rude woman who couldn't handle the booking system and made several mistakes before calling me back to confirm. As the date approached, my childcare fell through, so I emailed to ask if I could reschedule. The woman insisted I choose a new date immediately, even though I couldn't do so without confirming with a sitter. I was forced to choose a random Friday, but ultimately couldn't secure...

We attended The Pudding Club having been given a voucher as a gift. I know the experience was once highly prized and of great quality. The hotel changed hands before the pandemic I believe and I was looking forward to the experience myself. I was prepared for a very small main course as the main event is always the puddings. I was not prepared for the fact that the main course took one hour and 40 minutes to arrive when there were only two choices, chicken or fish. the puddings became available after nine pm, a choice of three different sponges, a treacle tart and three other cold puddings. It seems to us that the flavoring of the sponges was plonked on top so if you were unlucky enough to g...
