Had a lovely meal service and staff were very helpful and courteous would go back.

Lovely traditional, attractive, friendly pub. Some interesting original stained glass windows.

Still one of the best pubs in Dundee, a bit quiet at lunchtime today, but food and service very good

Good food, and good service from the bar staff. 8 of us in for lunch and pre football drinks, couldn't do enough for us.

Didnt have food but i had a whiskey and a john smiths... the staff were froemdly and the atmosphere was good will defo go in shain next time im in dundee

I am a regular visitor to this bar and that tells it's own storey spotless with great service even when really busy Dundee city centre best pud by a country mile⁷

Friendly bar, nice beer and a great place to watch sport for half an hour. Its pretty small though, and if there are more than 40 folks in there it starts to get crowded! Nice staff too, would definitely recommend .

Came in for a late lunch. My chips and salad were lovely, but the small haddock was tiny. The batter was dark and soggy, and I had hairs in my food. I didn't complain in case one was mine, but I'm sure one was within the fish as I didn't see it before eating.

Come here regularly for a pint and some lunch. Good atmosphere, good for watching some sport and a good pint served by great staff. However….. the food has gone down hill. Whatever you do, DO NOT order their “juicy burger”. A better description would be 5 day old frozen meat with consistency and chewiness of an inner tube served on a plain dry roll. All for the bargain price of £12. Ordering cheese on your burger won’t help to add any juiciness as that is simply some grated cheese dumped on the side. No butter, no salad, no sauce (unless you pay extra). The side of frozen onion rings sets the plate of nicely though. Officially the worst burger I have ever had in my life.
