"Ordered 2 fish and chips and home made steak n ale pie on Saturday just gone, waited over 45 minutes for food to arrive, one of the fish and chips was cold, Steak n Ale was under done, horrible pastry, uncooked, chewy meat, complete waste of money. This is our regular for drinking place. Male server, was very polite and apologetic. I think they forgot our order or did this on purpose. On top of all this a fight nearly broke out, aggressive behaviour and foul language in front of all the customers and children. Felt very unsafe. Would not recommend or ever eat here again. Will come and stick to our drinks or choose a different pub."

Very welcoming we found them on Facebook and it happened to be there last night of the season no food available but they let us order a take away and eat in. £2.50 a pint couldn’t fault It

It's hard to rank this place. At first I thought it a little ropey , but as the night went on I enjoyed myself here. Good food at a reasonable price and plenty of TVS to watch sports on. Plenty of staff all great except one who rubs off against the other staff.

Had the best evening last night. Staff are so helpful. Food is amazing and the atmosphere was great. Unsure if the young ladies name a young blonde girl was waiting our table and all night made sure our table was clear and always had a beautiful smile on her face and had a laugh with us. What lovely staff you have. Thank you xx
