Absolutely spottless inside. Met with a smile. The ladies taking out order were both bubbly, like a double act. Maxine was especially funny and helpful. Breakfast is amazing. Not a bad thing to say. Thanks.

Food turns cold two minutes after it's on your plate. Either save your money and make it yourself or go to somewhere else that actually serves the food hot. Meat was cold. Gravy was cold. Yorkshire pudding cold. Definitely not what you want in winter. What a shame.

We met family here for drinks and decided to stay for lunch. After taking a while to get the attention of a member of staff to see if they could accommodate us (they were very busy), we were seated in a quiet area near the back of the restaurant. We weren't sure how to order but after a few minutes our server Tracy arrived. She was great... cheerful and efficient. We were soon tucking into the carvery meals and one of our guests chose a sandwich off the menu, which she said was very nice. All of the food was lovely and we all left quite satisfied. All of the staff were nice, but shoutout to Tracy, she is an absolute asset to Toby Carvery!

First visit after refurbishment and must say it looks good . It really did need some money spending on it . Booked our table as usual and we were lucky to Cody looking after us , bringing our drinks and second round after we ‘d eaten . Now to the important bit . … Let’s face it , it’s not a cheap at £9.49 each and the least we would expect is warm food , the Yorkshire were stone cold , the server reached underneath a got a fresh tray out when we were in the queue. They were cold , as were the cut beans and the swede . As Ive said before , it can be very hit and miss eating here . The one thing that stopped this night out from being a wash out was the attentive service from Cody .

for the first time in old and what a disappointment. great reception and fast to a table shown, sad all down from there. the poor young guy who does his best to command to take the money of the people and clear tables, so wait a bit to order, but he was very pleasant henne that he got to us. a great mistake was that I ordered an ugly pack with pork, filling and bratkartoffeln. you said it would take about 10 minutes, no problem as I thought it was fresh. I'm wrong! when it came, it was almost cold and soggy and even the bratkartoffels were hardly warm. the waiter immediately took it away, but when it came back, there was hardly any difference. obviously the idea of the chef chef has changed...

They dont cater for children with special needs . My son whos 8 and autisic wanted the carvery but he only wanted the meat as he doesnt eat anything else from the carvey selection the amount he got was tiny , concidering he only had meat which i told the chef at the time too and to be honest came across quite rude. he ate his meats in about 5 mins and was still starving to which we asked he he could have more meat nothing else as before and was told he had to upgrade to a king size plate for extra £1.99? This is not acceptable to be honest as i paid for a kids full carvery and to be honest didnt get half of that really. My son is autisic and has sensory needs which i feel your restrant just...
